Step 1
CONNECT.
Book a free one-on-one video consultation with a Best Deal Builder design expert to discuss your project goals and vision. During this call, we’ll work together to achieve the following:
- Talk through your goals and what you want to achieve with your space.
- Define the scope of your project—what’s realistic now and what might benefit from exploring alternative design ideas.
- Share your personal style and inspiration so we can tailor the design to feel authentically “you,” including your favorite finishes and design elements.
- Establish a realistic budget with honest, expert feedback based on your goals, preferences, and industry insights.
- Provide 2D space planning ideas to help you visualize your options and identify where your investment will have the most impact.
- Establish your budget Comfort Zone based on real possibilities and your priorities.
- Present a full Proposal outlining expected costs, with material selections listed as Allowances to maintain flexibility while staying aligned with your style and vision.

Step 2
DESIGN.
Your dedicated designer will collaborate with you to refine key details, finalize layout adjustments, and select the perfect materials. This is the phase where every decision comes together to bring your vision to life.
Conduct a diagnostic in-home visit where we’ll investigate behind walls or ceilings if needed, ensuring your design can be executed without surprises.
Hold a detailed design meeting to review and fine-tune any layout changes you’d like to explore.
Meet online or at your home with your dedicated cabinet designer to finalize cabinet layout, style, finishes, accessories, and custom features.
Provide multiple 3D renderings and elevation views of your space, featuring your selected materials.
Visit a showroom to choose countertop and tile materials for final pricing accuracy.
Complete a virtual selection process for any remaining Allowance items, including flooring, plumbing and electrical fixtures, hardware, paint colors, and accessories.
Present a cohesive mood board showcasing all your chosen materials and finishes, helping you visualize the overall look and feel.
Deliver an updated No-Surprises Proposal that includes all selections as part of your all-in build contract.
Step 3
BUILD.
Your materials are ordered, lead times are being tracked, and your project is officially on our schedule—now the exciting part begins! Our skilled craftsmen collaborate closely with the design team to bring your vision to life, while your dedicated Project Manager keeps everything on track, coordinating the schedule and overseeing the construction site. You'll meet with our team at key milestones to review progress and finalize any remaining details.
- Get introduced to your Project Manager—your go-to expert for scheduling and overseeing all on-site construction activity.
- Gain access to our Construction Management software, designed to simplify communication, track your budget, and keep you updated on the schedule.
- Stay in close contact with your Project Manager and Design Team throughout key project milestones to review progress, confirm details, and finalize any remaining decisions.
- Then sit back, relax, and enjoy the transformation as our skilled construction team brings your plans to life!
